How can I cure a migraine during pregnancy?
I am 5 weeks pregnant, and have an excruitiating migraine. I've had it for three days, and have had to leave work early. I know that they say Tylenol is safe, but is it really safe if you are this early while the brain and major organs are developing?

1. if it wasn't safe, they wouldn't recommend it.. ever..
2. yes it's safe. take some tylenol and drink a little bit of caffeine, that will help alot! it did for me at least
3. Tylenol is safe any time during pregnancy.
Brian and Sandra is right. That is what my doctor recommended for me for my headaches was tylenol with a little bit of caffeine. The caffeine is sometimes the kicker, especially for migraines. Good luck, I hope you feel better.
4. My doctor says Tylenol is perfectly fine...feel better
5. Yes it is... Otherwise try to lay down wit a cool rag on your head. Plus dimming the lights and all noises if can...
6. I know how you feel. I went through weeks of non-stop migrains in I think it was my third or forth month. The only thing I could take is Tylenol, and yes, you can. Just do not exceed the amount it says on the bottle. Completely safe to use while pregnant. Also, caffeine helps, and I know people tell you to not have caffiene during pregnancy, but if you eat some chocolate or drink a coke, it should help, and my DR has said that a small intake of caffeine is ok.
Good luck, and turn the lights off and lay down.
7. I suffered from extreme headaches in my 1st trimester. I used tylenol plus a combination of ice packs and heat packs. Apply a heat pack to the back of your neck for 5 mins, then switch to the ice - i swear this saved my life those 1st few months ...
