I've recently started getting really bad lower back pains. its hard for me to get up in the morning, get up from a sitting position, even bending over to pick up or feed the cat. Other women at work have been telling me it could be the weight in my breasts. I'm 30 years old, if it is why would it start hurting now? and why would it be my lower back not my upper. Seriously I'm 5'1 and DD cup...i've seen bigger. I don't think thats what it could be, but what do i know? If someone could give me an idea or if they could help me out on how to ease my pain it would be greatly appreciated. Serious answers please....i'm in pain. :(
When does the actual neck and back pain usually occur? I'm almost a month pregnant and I woke up this morning experiencing the worst back of my neck and back pain! I'm experiencing stiffness and sharp pains everytime I bend my head neck or back forward, even when I'm sitting down. Has any woman experienced this kind of back pain? When does back and neck pain usually start during pregnancy?
I am tired of going to doctor for my back pain, and having them just keep refering me to specialist. I need pain relief. Not back surgery! I have some old injury, but the biggest problem is probably a pinched nerve or something that is causing unreal pain.
My partner and I have tried to concieve, and in the last couple days she has had some minor lower back pain and pain in the area of her Uterus. She is not due for a period for quite some time, but it seems too soon. It hasn't even been a week yet since intercourse. Could this be a sign of conception?
I've been running cross-country for four years now, but this is the first year I've exerpeince lower back pain. What can I do to avoid this? One of my teammates said it could be posture, but now says my posture shouldn't be triggering lower back pain. What could be causing this, and what can I do to avoid this?
Tips to Reduce Knee Pain and Arthritis Knee exercise is vital if you are suffering from the painful condition of arthritis in the knee joints. The right kind of exercise can help to maintain or possibly even increase your range of motion, which helps to prevent the knee from causing sudden acute pain. Learn more here...
I have alot of pain in my left knee, almost constantly, and it's usually swollen. I haven't had an injury to the knee, but I did injure my right knee several years ago. I am wondering if anyone knows of any exercises or anything to help strengthen my knee and to relieve pain? Advil helps some, but I wind up having to take so many that my ankles wind up swelling. Any SERIOUS suggestions or remedies would be greatly appreciated.
I just did about 14 laps around the track today, but when I got home, my knee started hurting really bad. The pain is on the right knee, on the inner-side of the knee. What should I do right now to ease the pain, and what can I do in the future to prevent this pain? I like running, but my knees say otherwise!
I have been running 3 miles every day for a month. I have knee pain. It is not too bad but still makes me uncomfortable. During the days I do not run I have no knee pain (I usually supplement by going for a walk or swim). So what do you do to manage knee pain after running?
I had direct knee to pipe contact and now it hurts to bend my knee pretty much at all. Keeping the leg straight keeps me from any pain, but the pain is pretty severe with any movement. If you poke it, it doesn't hurt and the kneecap feels fine. It seems like it is something inside the knee. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but just wondering what type of injury im looking at, any suggestion is welcome, thanks!
I have had knee problems since I was about 14 (26 now). It used to pop out of the socket easily, just when sitting down, etc. It's sore all the time, and seems to be worse in damp weather. Looking at the knee anatomy it feels like the LCL is where most of the pain comes from. Is it possible I tore it when I was younger & it never healed right & thats what causes my pain today?
I was taking Centrum One a Day vitamins and then I stopped taking them because I would get really bad headaches afterwards. I tried to start taking my vitamins again after not taking them for awhile, thinking maybe it was just a phase... but I got another headache and these headaches are so bad that I feel nauseous. Is there something in vitamins that could possibly induce headaches? Also, what the best home remedy for headaches?
I had the worst headache I've ever had in my life a few days ago, and I was wondering what in the world causes headaches. This headache had everything, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and an ache that seemed to radiate from the very inside if my head. What causes it? What exactly is going on in my head when this happens?
Ever since I went on a HUGE binge, I now get a headache right after I take my first swallow of hard alcohol. I don't get it from beer, only hard alcohol. I could drink beer all night long without getting a headache, but right as I drink hard A, there it is. Before my HUGE binge, I could drink hard A fine without getting a headache.
What could possibly cause this kind of a headache...It's usually in one spot above the right eye. This has been going on for about 9 months now and the headaches come randomly about 3-4 times a week (doesn't seem to be caused because of change in weather). The pain is usually sharp just in that area. Could this be serious or is it just a normal thing to deal with? What can cause this and what can be done to prevent it other then to drink pills?
I am 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I have had an awful headache backache, diarrhea, nausea all day long. Can this be the start of labor?
I get a couple migraines a month. They are always on my left side and hurt like hell. I usually get them in the evening so I can just go to bed and when I wake up they are gone only I have a lot of pressure on my right side - not pain, just pressure that usually goes away after mid-day. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if they have any tips on how to make it feel better without having to go to sleep. And Excedrin Migraine, it says to only take two tablets in a 24 hour period, can you take three if two just does not work?
I've had migraines off and on for years, due to a car accident. The last 2 years, the migraines have cropped up more often and my doctor will prescribe a migraine med for me to have on hand. The problem is, she says that they are all very similar. So, the question for yahoo users is, in your personal migraine experiences, what prescription migraine medication worked best, and were there side effects, etc? Thanks!
I suffer from migraine headaches. I usually get a really bad one right before I get my period. I remember reading somewhere that you can eat certain food and avoid others to help in the drop of hormones. I have high blood pressure so I can't take birth control pills to help this.
I've had a migraine for two weeks now and the pain is mostly near my eyes, but not really both sides of my head at the same time. Sometimes it feels numb, other times a sharp stabbing pain, and sometimes a dull throbbing pain. I have a history of head injuries and concussions and my mother died of a brain tumor. Because of my history, is it normal that I should have such bad headaches or should I see a doctor?
I had been taking Topamax for migraines. I was on 400mg a day and it helped really well, but recently found I have a kidney stone due to using Topamax so I am trying to find a different med. I can take for it. For those of you that don't know, Topamax is used to prevent migraines, not to help with the pain. If anyone has personal experience I would prefer your answer. I don't want answers like imitrex, maxalt, zomig, as these are to treat the pain after you have gotten a migraine. I want an answer for a med to prevent the migraines. Thanks in advance.
I have been sick for over a year now. I keep going to the doctor with no answers they keep treating the immediate problem and I am starting to think there is more of a major problem. Possibly Fibromyalgia. I have body ache, pain, disturbed sleep, exhaustion, stiffness when I wake up, tingling in my hands and legs. I know I need to see a Dr. I just want to know more about the disease and if there are any treatments to help it. Thanx Bunches!!!
Are there any support groups in Plymouth UK, or the South West, still running please? Also, is there anyone living with Fibromyalgia, in the same area, looking for support? I would like to hear from people interested in raising awareness of FMS in the UK.
If I've got fibromyalgia (I think I do) I suspect my diet has something to do with it (prehaps other things too). If I do have fibromyalgia, carbonated soft drinks heads my list as a possible contributor to it and/or with cafeine as a runner up and/or equal to it? Is there a corelation with either or both if they are taken together in a can or bottle of soda pop? Thank you for any helpful input because it is getting painful. Ed
I've had Fibromyalgia for 17 years now. I've been off and on Medicine for it. I was just wondering if anyone who has it , had any other methods of pain relief besides medication. Thanks!
I have fibromyalgia and possible rheumatoid arthritis. What are some good treatments/remedies that you or someone you know has found to be helpful?
